Congratulations to Anita Quelle!
Anita Quelle has a new life after beginning her weight loss journey in April 2010! She has lost over 40 pounds and 9.4% body fat. She has stopped smoking and has been very dedicated to her diet and exercise routine. She has had a constant presence at Town & Country and has really pushed herself to get involved. Anita reflects on her journey, “When people tell me I have will-power, I tell them, it’s not about will-power, it’s discipline, and this is something my Trainers and the members of Town & Country have taught me. They make it so easy. You never feel like you’re working out by yourself. It’s the same familiar faces and group each time. We have fun. You even notice when they’re not there and they notice when you’re not. These are the people who inspire me, that keep me coming back. At age 54, I never would of thought that I would compete in Group Competitions or run in the Labor of Love or the Flying Pig 10K, but my Trainers did, and what a rush and feel of accomplishment it was. I find myself setting little goals to meet, and with the help of my Trainers, I have and will exceed them.”
“Anita is a true inspiration to me. She works so hard, always with a smile on her face! I have seen such a change in Anita. She is so much more confident about herself and she should be! I believe the sky is the limit for Anita!” states Karen Brackman, Town & Country Personal Trainer.

Tara’s journey wasn’t an easy one. In order to achieve her goals, Tara knew she had to get involved. She participated in several Town & Country Healthy Lifestyle Competitions and began training with personal trainer, Annie Schmolt. She was also introduced to several other Town & Country members and began training with them regularly. They motivated and pushed her through the ups and downs of training and helped her with her phenomenal weight loss.
Running was also another goal Tara always wanted to accomplish. She started small with several 5K’s in the area, and then she set her sights on the Flying Pig Half Marathon in 2010. After several grueling months of training, she proudly finished it strong, running it in 2 hours and 36 minutes. And she is not stopping there. She plans on training for more half marathons in the future!
Tara has come such a long way and accomplished so much over the past 2 years, completely changing her lifestyle habits. On January 7, 2011 Tara had lost an amazing 100+ pounds and was able to show off the “new/healthier” Tara at her own wedding! What an incredible accomplishment! Annie Schmolt has been so impressed and is one of Tara’s biggest fans. “Tara is as committed to her health as they come. She has always followed my advice and put 110% into every aspect of her health, including her workouts and nutrition, without hesitation. Weight loss is not easy and takes a lot of physical work and more importantly, a strong mental commitment. I have seen Tara come such a long way and witnessing her achieve a huge accomplishment of losing over 100 pounds makes me so proud of her. I have no doubt that 2011 is her year. Not only will she begin her life as a happily married newlywed, I know she will achieve her ultimate weight loss goal this year.”
Congratulations to Annie Schmolt and her "Workout Buddies"
Submitted by the “Workout Buddies”… For the past few years the Workout Buddies (WOB’s), have had the opportunity to work with Personal Trainer, Annie Schmolt. She has pushed, encouraged and challenged us to reach beyond the limits we set for ourselves. Reaching and surpassing these limits could only have been successful with the help of not only our trainer, but also our friend, Annie. Through her knowledge and expertise she knew what each of us could accomplish even if we had doubts. Our team grew stronger physically and mentally. Three members of the WOB’s have even made it on Town & Country’s Wall of Fame!
We will always be grateful for all that Annie has taught and given us and we will miss her as she moves away to Chicago. However, our love for Annie never dies as several of us (whether we are running or not) are planning a trip up to see her during the Chicago Half Marathon in the fall.
We will miss Annie, but we will continue to succeed on our journey of a healthier life. We will continue to carry on in making Annie proud of her WOB’s!

Congratulations to Tara Lee-Wiley!
When you look up the word dedicated in the dictionary, Tara Lee Wiley’s picture should be right next to that definition…
Tara joined Town & Country in 2008, but really began her weight loss journey with the 2009 Town & Country Biggest Loser Competition. Her goal was to lose weight and become an overall healthier person. She was ready to conquer the one thing she had always struggled to overcome and prove to herself that it could be done.
